Jump 667: Short Film

Description:  This short film won the 2026 Boston 48 Hour Film Project. Teams are required to write, film edit and deliver a 5 - 7 minute short film in 48 hours. Each team is assigned a specific genre along with required elements such as prop, line and character. I recruited 3 other talented colleagues to help write, film and edit over a weekend. We went on to win "Best Film" overall for Boston as well as 3 other awards against 70 other teams.

Draftkings: Christmas Giveaway

Type: 30s TV Spot

Description:  This DraftKings Christmas day give-away spot ran during the first NFL broadcast on Netflix. We were charged to create this spot on virtually no budget, completely in-house using our own talent.  I worked closely with a writer and art director on the concept and I was leaned on for basically everything else in production and post-production.

Draftkings: Positive Trash Talk

Description:  NBA offers from DraftKings are so good, you can't help but be positive, even in a competitive game of 1-on-1, featuring Paul Pierce. With no real story board, much of the dialog being improv and the director asking to fit as many "one-liners" as possible into the spot, it was a challenge to cut it all together in a cohesive way, so I had to get creative and use tight shots and sound effects to help transition from line to line.

Description:  A hype video to show investors why they should feel good about sticking with DraftKings. I worked with a writer, art director and motion designer to complete this video. Description:  DraftKings rolled out new company values in 2026 and needed a high-level overview of each value to go along with why keeping a consistent culture is so important.
Stakeholders of this video requested 13 employees be interviewed for this video which were filmed in various DraftKings offices around the country. It was a challenge to incorporate everyone and keep the story cohesive while capping the run time to 5 minutes.

Description:  This was a spot promoting DraftKings Sportsbook Boxing for a main event on Netflix. I acted as one man production for this spot with a very tight timeline, simplicity was key. Howerver, compositing DraftKings app UI and video of the fighters onto the glass panels helped to visually differentiate this from other quick-turn spots.

If that sounds crazy, we also decided to multiply the on-camera talent by 6 (aka Pick 6). Obviously green screen was required here in what turned out to be a silly (but effective) tv spot.

While I personally prefer true behind the scenes videos on how a film/tv are created, the ask here was to create a fast-paced promotional sizzle using behind-the-scenes footage with interviews from the actors involved.

Description:  "TrickPlay" was a web / YouTube series where we had athletes "prank" unsuspecting fans. This was a fun way DraftKings enabled fans to interact with their favorite sports icons while creating content for our YouTube channel. Along with editing and motion design, I also designed to logo and overall graphic style of the series.

Description:  "This Assist" was a web / YouTube series where we had an "every man" host, Johnno Wilson, tag along with athletes for shopping and activities that are ordinary for the athletes, but extraordinary for the "every man." The mission was to get to know sports icons on a more personal level while uncovering truths and fun facts about their character and personality. Once again I provided the logo design and animation as well as the overall graphic style.

Description:  "The Come Up" was a mini doc series which interviewed athletes about their path to the pro's. Along with the editing and motion design, I designed the overall graphic style.

Description:  This was a run & gun man on the street style feature with a spoof on Good Fella's as the intro since it was a piece on the "Bills Mafia." The timeline from concept to execution of this video was less than 24 hours as we started shooting at around 6pm and it aired around 10am the next day. The tailgate section was originally shot during a live broadcast of DKN Pregame PowerUp, but I've edited that and cut it down into the original feature to show the full scope of what was produced.

DKN Super Week: Graphics Package

Description:  This sizzle reel showcases a small graphics package I created to brand all of the content DraftKings was creating during Super Bowl LVIII. Elements created were a short into/outro stinger, wipes/transitions, animated sponsor cards, and MOGRT templates for animated lower thirds, name keys and coming up next graphics that I composited onto a shot of the Vegas Sphere.

DKN Pregame Powerup: Graphics Package

Description:  This sizzle showcases a full graphics package built from the ground up for an NFL Pregame show called "PreGame PowerUp" which aired weekly on DraftKings Network. I worked on everything graphics related: designing and animating the logo, stingers, transitions, wipes, lower thirds, backdrops, stat/player cards and touch screen graphics (designed in XD).

DraftKings: Gather on the Green

Description:  A TV spot for DraftKings Sportsbook to advertise an odds boost during the NFL Playoffs. This was a silly concept that involved Jerry Rice trying to make a "DraftKings customer" feel like an NFL champion with a Gatorade bath when he wins his bets. There were no real story boards here and the scenes had no particular order as shot leaving myself and the creative director to basically script the spot and connect the dots in the edit.

Description:  I had the priveledge of directing this tv spot featuring Jon Anik which ran before and during UFC fights. The concept called for us to seamlessly change the lighting from a bright studio to a more dramatic set up that resembled a UFC fighter "walk-out." The overall effect worked well. Fun fact, this was filmed as a two for one special as I also filmed the next spot on the same day.

About Me

I am an award winning, multipurpose "do-it-all" video editor, videographer, graphic/motion designer and director, based in the Boston area. (I also dabble in scripting and automation.) I've worked in the industry for over 20 years on a variety of projects ranging from short creative films to corporate video to TV ads.  I am able to complete a  project from concept to delivery as a "one-man-production," but I am also highly collaborative and enjoy working as a team alongside other creatives. Every production has it's own set of  problems and I have knack for finding creative solutions. My main focus and passion lies in video editing as this is where the final vision comes to life.

When I'm not working I'm usually parenting two awesome daugters, but in my rare spare time you'll find me on the slopes, hiking or near the water. I've been known to bust out the obligatory campfire guitar song when the mood strikes.
